Basil Pesto, Not Just for Pasta!

I recently had A LOT of basil to do something with, so I asked my friend Jessica for her Basil Pesto recipe.

This recipe was the easiest one I have ever made. (Because I already had all the ingredients.)

Super easy (that’s my style). And delicious (because otherwise the kids won’t eat it).

Traditionally pesto is served with pasta. Don’t let that stop you from trying it on other things – rice, chicken, sandwiches…

My absolute favorite was on my omelet! It was soooo good!

And guess what. You can freeze it!

Make a big batch, put it in a glass jar or a ziplock bag and enjoy it several days later.
