Garlic scapes are ready!
Garlic scapes are the slender stalks that grow from the garlic bulb of (hardback garlic).
They’re seasonal. you can only get them for 2-3 weeks every year.
Typically they are ready to be harvested about 4 weeks before the garlic itself.
Garlic scapes are Andrew’s favorite vegetable we grow.
One of our favorite ways to prepare it is to chop it up in bite size pieces and sauté in butter. **Yum!**
And super easy. Easy and delicious – the best combo in the kitchen in my onion. 🙂
