Have you ever had roasted radishes?
Almost every week a get a new idea or recipe to try from one of our customers.
Last week a someone stopped to ask how I ate our radishes.
She said “They look so good. I want to buy them, but I don’t really know what to do with them except put them on a salad.”
Truth – Until we started growing them a few years ago I was in the exact same boat.
Before I could even start to answer her question another customer at our booth immediately responded-
“I love to roast them. I cut them in half and put some olive oil, salt, and pepper on them and just stick them in the oven. Cooking them makes them more mild and they are creamy. They are really good that way.”
There are several different recipes online, but this is what I made tonight.
My 9 year old walked into the kitchen and said “That smells delicious!”
After tasting them he said “That tastes delicious!”
Kid tested and approved!!
